Hong Kong Atlas by award-winning contemporary artist Zoran Poposki FRSA is form of translation and transcoding of Dung Kai-cheung’s novel "Atlas: The Archaeology of an Imaginary City". Taking Dung’s book as a starting point, Poposki's project traces the locations in that book onto the real terrain of today's Hong Kong by means of a psychogeography documented in digital photographs, and the resulting series of urban landscapes are then once again transcoded into visual form as a body of works across various media.
