Ice Cream by contemporary award-winning artist Zoran Poposki FRSA is a digital artwork about the positive transformation of negative media images, combining text and digitally edited images working together to subvert the meaning of the original image.

The artwork was created in the midst of the global covid-19 outbreak in 2020. The artwork creation starts with a photo rendering of the corona virus, as an omnipresent image associated with panic and fear in early 2020. The image is then transformed digitally and text is added in order to take away the negative connotations and infuse it with positive associations.
